What Kicks To Cop This Weekend (10/14 & 10/15)

Welcome back fellow sneaker lovers, it is Friday once again and that can only mean one thing. That it`s time to find out what kicks to make a come up on this weekend. If you happen to be a sneaker-head who buys shoes on a regular basis, you would know the best shoe releases happen during major events. Luckily, I’ve made it my job to help you navigate through some of the releases dropping this weekend. Now, let’s get into the releases coming up this Friday and Saturday.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 750 “Chocolate” – October 15th – $350

Kanye West’s 750 Boost returns for the fall with the release of the adidas Yeezy Boost 750 “Chocolate.”. When Yeezy came out with his very first high-top sneaker, a long time ago, the reviews really disappointed me. Cries of a poorly constructed sole and fabric that easily ripped had me disillusioned. Now, I’m impressed with how far he has come in the sneaker industry. To be honest, I really like this shoe also. Chocolate covered shoes are not really my forte, but I do think that if you have $350 dollars and are plugged in, that you should cop these.

Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cyber Monday”- October 15th – $190

So, I first heard about this sneaker about three months ago. It was a known rumor that was started by Baltimore’s own @Baltsneakershow. I was interested in it because for one, I love black sneakers and two, with a name like cyber monday, you can’t help but feel lowkey intrigued. If you’re someone who invested in the Air Jordan 1 “Cyber Monday”, then you should most definitely invest in these too.

Vans X Disney – October 7th – Prices ranging from $65 – $85

This is a bonus cop to be honest because if there’s anything that I love in the world more than Jordans, it`s Vans. What makes me even happier is that this cop brings back for me a sense of childhood nostalgia due to this collection exclusively being prints and patterns from Toy Story. To make this cop even sweeter, every sneaker in this collection, on the bottom of the shoe has Andy`s name scribble in his mom`s handwriting, just like how in the original movie, Andy`s name was scribbled on the bottom of  Woody`s cowboy boot. Plus for under $100 dollars, there’s no way that you aren’t able to fit any of the shoes in this collection into your budget.

Adidas Ado Pure Boost ZG “Olive.”- October 14th -$180

I feel like Adidas outdid themselves with this sneaker, honestly. Adidas introduces its Day One Collection with the release of the adidas Ado Pure Boost ZG “Olive.” The concept behind this shoe is its desire to cater to the modern nomad, and from the shades of Olive and Chocolate to the laces being sleek, it absolutely does that. I feel like for fall, these should be apart of your wardrobe.

Nike Lil Posite One “Halloween” – October 15th – $180

You know, I had an ex who used to wear foams all the time, and just like I hated him, I hated this sneaker too. The only reason why I think I like this shoe is because of the holiday that it represents. Draped in the colors of the beloved holiday of Halloween, the sneaker features a mix of black, orange, and a hint of white throughout with a jack-o-lantern graphic on the heels. I really don’t think that you should cop these, but if you really love foams and things of that nature, then sure, go and waste your money.

Ronnie Fieg X New Balance 997.5 “Mykonos Collection” – October 14th – $240

Every time I hear about a Ronnie Fieg and New Balance collaboration, I always know that whatever shoe they come out with, will always be fire, thus this collaboration was no different. The two colorways featured are “Cyclades and Archipelago” , whose names are inspired by the beautiful Nammos resort in Mykonos, Greece. I love the colors Orange and Blue, so for me, I was instantly sold. Sadly, getting a pair of these will prove to be a difficult challenge as these shoes have only been released to Ronnie Fieg`s close family and friends as well as employees of KITH, so literally, as I normally say in my closing statements, may the odds be ever in your favor. Even still, if you can, you should attempt to cop them.

There we have it folks, another week of shoe releases in the books. May the sneaker raffles be ever in your favor, and for those who do pick up some heat this weekend, don’t hesitate to show us over @thedemotape_ and @gabbydotjay__.
