Ballin’ on a Budget

Have you ever bought something then a few weeks or months down the road that same exact item is still around but now for only half the price? The feeling that you get when you discover this can only be described in one word, disgust.

Season ending promotions are almost as sure as tornados in the Midwest, they’re just going to happen. As stores are preparing for the countless shoe releases to come, they begin to chop prices on sneakers to get them out of the door. I’m the type of shopper that only likes to spend money on something if I know for sure I’m getting the best deal possible as to maximize my money’s potential, even if that means waiting almost a year for a certain pair. Currently, there are tons of top-notch shoes going on sale but here are 5 shoes that were definitely worth the wait.

Originally retailing for $140, the Adidas tubular Doom is definitely one of the nicer Adidas models. That all pink suede looks so inviting and you can tell just by looking at the shoe that its very high quality. These are for sure worth the original $140 price tag but now, they are a must cop. If you weren’t lucky enough to cop earlier this year now would be the perfect time as the price is nearly cut in half. Head on over to Urban Outfitters ASAP as there are only a few sizes left. Trust me, you wont regret it.

Nike surely did not disappoint with bright and flashy collaboration shoe with Fragment design, founded by Hiroshi Fujiwara. Originally retailing for $145, $75 is an ultimate steal. Comprised mainly of mesh and neoprene with a cross strap for added security, comfort will for sure to be the least of your worries. This shoe is what I like to call a triple-threat; you can ball in it, hit the mall in it, and even climb a wall in them. If you feeling these hit up END and they’ll get you right for a nice price. (UK sizing so make sure you select appropriate size)

This one goes out to all my lady sneakerheads who like flashy, bright colors as much as I do. The roshe run has certainly been around for quite a while now and we’ve all seen our fair share of fun, colorful silhouettes. At first glance this color way gives off immediate Yeezy Red October vibes and the 3D snakeskin like design is pure magic. Ladies head over to END, they’ve got a full size run and a great deal for one of the higher quality roshes.

All I can say is d@mn Nike back at it again. This was another great classic release and the epitome of a summer shoe. Air maxes have always been such a versatile shoe and will continue to be for years to come. If these piqued your interest Footaction’s got you covered with a full size run.

I know this shoe is a little over budget but I feel like I had to throw these in. adidas has really been moving up on my list of top shoe brands in my mind. The quality of shoe is undeniable and this definitely serves as a reminder of why they’ve been one of the top dogs for a while now. adidas does running shoes and certainly have almost perfected their craft. For my fellas in size 10 or 11, Undefeated got you.
