When songs need to be revived or have some extra flavor added to them you know just who to call. T-Pain, aka the “rappa ternt sanga,” has a reputation for not only making hits, but turning other people’s tracks into even bigger hits. Many artists in the industry capitalize off the momentum of hit singles while they’re hot to show what they could do to make a song better, but sometimes they just don’t do it justice. However, T-Pain hands down knows exactly what to do in order to give the people the remix they need no matter what the song is. To prove that he’s got the blueprint down pat, here’s a list of his top 5 T-Mix tracks.

Boo’d Up
-
A lot of artists have tried (and failed) to add their own twist to Ella Mai’s hit song “Boo’d Up,” but lo and behold T-Pain came to the rescue last week and gave us the ONLY remix we deserved for this track. What Nicki Minaj, Quavo, Fabolous, and other failed to do only T-Pain could pull it off. Pain tapped into his Teddy Pendergrass persona to gift us a truly phenomenal update to the song of the summer. Flipping this summer love song into an X-rated booty-themed crooning track, the “Boo’d Up (T-Mix)” is exactly what we needed.
Booty
-
Of all his T-Mixes, this is probably the most slept on of them all considering the fact that the official remix of “Booty” with Young Jeezy, Chris Brown, and Trey Songz wasn’t even this catchy. First of all let’s acknowledge the fact that the sample used from Shai’s 1992 hit “If I Ever Fall in Love” was pure genius and it fit so nicely into the original instrumental. T-Pain’s version of the song gave the original a run for it’s money adding a dash of classic R&B in the mix. Besides the last part of the track that merges Blac Youngsta’s hook, T-Pain almost completely transformed the song into his own.
Roll in Peace
-
An anthem for his home state and a huge shout-out to fellow Florida natives Kodak Black and the late XXXTentacion, T-Pain’s “Roll in Peace (T-Mix)” was the perfect song to show unity among his roots. The remix was right on time for Kodak who’s been incarcerated ever since his house was raided back in January, but it also showed love to XXXTentacion during a tumultuous time despite his own situation. Pain’s auto-tuned vocals, rapid-fire rhymes, and savvy hook made for a great T-Mix.
Classic Man
-
Jidenna owned all of 2015 with his hit song “Classic Man,” but then T-Pain came along and made it even better. Pain’s “Nappy Boy Flair” is evident all over this remix with the original dapper suit-and-tie style traded in for his own personal Tallahassee flavor and street swagger. He turned his love for old school whips into a classic T-Mix track.
Panda
-
Of course T-Pain had to hop on the hottest song of 2016. Jumping on the “Panda” train, Pain did what he does best - make other artists’ songs sound like his own. With his auto-tune in full gear, he finessed his rapping and singing skills all over the notorious beat.
