Baltimore native Shwaze Collins has been steadily building anticipation for his forthcoming project, Get Money or Nothing. With the recent release of his video for the mixtape’s lead single, “Geronimo,” Collins’ preparation for GMON is in full swing.
However, to reward those that have been patient in waiting for its release, he’s decided to release a snippet of what’s to come, with Just Because. Collins is no stranger to releasing multiple projects in a year, having released The Lotus Project, Anywhere But Planet Earth (A.P.E.), and Party After Dark (P.A.D.) all during his 2016 campaign.
Just Because is a three-track offering, featuring production from frequent collaborators Damebeatz and 187Beatz, as well as Dre Walker. Fellow Baltimore native La’ Matic is also featured on Just Because with his verse on “Drippin.”
