Team Four Star Announces Anticipated Release of DBZ Abridged Episode 60 Ahead of 10-Year Anniversary
For the current millennial generation, the 2000s flourished with YouTube, the first notable and largely successful social media website. With YouTube animated music videos and clips from pop culture, a key segment of YouTube evolved for voice overs with Abridged series starting with Yu-Gi-Oh: The Abridged Series by LittleKuriboh. Abridged means shortened meaning, for brevity’s sake. However, Little Kuriboh made the Abridged series so hilarious and well-written that it spawned a hilarious and successful run of innovation through dubbing other individual anime abridged series. Many developed in that period and still are, including Naruto Abridged, YuYu Hakusho Abridged, Sailor Moon Abridged and many more mainstream animes popular in the United States.
Finally, in 2008 came Dragon Ball Z Abridged, which was a parody of the original Dragon Ball Z series under the new conglomerate of these individual accounts now called Team Four Star. In the course of 10 years, Team Four Star has not only produced 59 episodes of DBZ: The Abridged Series but other abridged series, abridged movies, specials, game playthroughs, charity fundraisers, and more initiatives to make their staple in the anime, YouTube and mainstream digital spheres with over 3 million followers as of today.
In celebration of their numbers, content and fan base, Team Four Star has announced the long-awaited DBZ abridged episode 60 to finish the season and possibly the series as a whole [insert sad face here]. This incredible team also announced other new initiatives with their recent video last week showing the power of brand building over there past 10 years.
Congratulations Team Four Star. You can check out their Channel on YouTube and their website more info and contact.
