After a relatively quiet 2016, Jay Verze has been getting his footing back this year with singles like “No Smoke” and “Daydreamin’,’ which was featured in our “100 Under 100K” for 2017. Now, he returns again with “Lil’ Team,” an ode to his squad. As he raps on the hook “I be with my team like we fam/You fake so you don’t understand,” “Lil’ Team” features Verze over another bass-heavy instrumental - something we may look forward to seeing in a possible forthcoming project.
