New Sugar Trap, Same Fun From Rico Nasty

Rico Nasty seems to be living her best life at the moment. After a breakout 2016 behind her single “Hey Arnold,” she’s been nothing but everywhere, even landing on the soundtrack for The Fate of The Furious earlier this year.

Her 2017 Tales of Tacobella was delivered earlier this past May, with standout singles like “Glo Bottles” and “Block List.

Now, back once again, she delivers 14 tracks of bubbly, yet forceful, rhymes in the form of Sugar Trap 2 – a phrase used best to describe her sound that walks the tightrope between aggressive rhymes and joyful melodies.

While the first Sugar Trap delivered her breakout hit, it’s the second installment that delivers in quantity, with tracks like “Key Lime OG” and “Poppin” showcasing Rico at her best before the Famous Dex-assisted “White,” the lone track with a feature.
