[PREMIERE] Tate Kobang Heats Up With “Gummo” Freestyle

With his project "TateKo" looming this month, Baltimore native Tate Kobang tackles 6ix 9ine's "Gummo"

Baltimore’s Tate Kobang is hitting on all strides with the release of his project TateKo looming for this month on the 27th. In March of this year, Tate’s Silent Waves featured standout cuts like “Chirp Chirp” and “Yeah.” Singles “North North” and the Westside Goldie-assisted “A Hunnid T’s” have the suspense building up for his second project of the year. To build the hype up more, he tackles one of the hottest songs out in the underground right now.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “Gummo” is heating up, with more than 16 million views currently on YouTube. Producer Pi’erre Bourne has been on a streak this year after several beats, including “Magnolia,” have assisted in Playboi Carti’s ascent this year.

While many artists have covered the single thus far, Kobang shows how it’s done with his own rendition. Listen to Tate Kobang’s “Gummo” freestyle below on SoundCloud.
