60 Minutes with Janea Brown
The Baltimore songstress puts together a playlist of her favorite songs after the release of her single "Girlfriend"
With the warm months of the summer approaching, Janea Brown’s “Girlfriend” feels like the perfect summer melody. Reminiscent of those early 2000’s love song, the Baltimore songstress put on a showing for her first original song release. “You got me acting like your girlfriend way too soon” she sings of a love affair moving all to fast. From the underlying beat to her transparency with infatuating love, she takes her listeners to a place within herself that everyone can relate to. With her EP Take It Personal around the corner, we caught up with her to see what’s in her playlist – maybe even some of which inspired the sound behind “Girlfriend.”
